The concept for New World Scribes was born in the spare room of our house
in Santa Rita, Guam, in late 2001. We started off creating business identities
for the local community that were creative and cohesive, and moved into
completely custom wedding invitations . We built it one customer at a time. As
we have moved from state to state we have brought the same level of service
and attention to detail with us.
We put our skills in the service of compelling concepts, taking inspiration from
a multitude of sources – architecture, fashion, history, and nature. After
researching our themes, we spent countless hours experimenting with fonts,
motifs, and colors to ensure a harmony of design elements.
At the same time, we’re proud of the good personal qualities that can’t be
captured in a photograph or magazine article. We bring enthusiasm,
dependability, and a spirit of service to every transaction.
Our approach is rooted in traditional design principles and in the belief that
creative ideas need to flow freely in order to produce the greatest possible
solutions for any design challenge. Our atmosphere is structured to
encourage open dialogues about our clients needs, new technologies, trends
in design, and creative solutions.
We believe in community and being involved in the towns and organizations
where we live and work. We work closely with non-profit organizations to help
them as best we can. We also have an open-ended graphic design internship
position in our office; some of our most influential learning experiences
occurred during our own internships, and we are proud to offer that
experience to others.
